Response to Intervention Action Research Plan

  1. Linda - This plan looks fantastic. I specifically appreciate that you are joining this project into something you were already involved in and passionate about. My only suggestion would be adding an additional focus group after the new RTI process has begun to evaluate the process verbally, instead of just through surveys. Excellent job and I look forward to continuing to follow your research!

  2. Linda, Your plan looks great. As I've told you before, I am very interested in your research. I like the way you plan to use surveys - both before and ongoing. I also like how you plan to streamline the process. The teachers will appreciate this. You are wise to wait until October to incorporate it in to the professional development. This will not only give you more time to tweak it, but the teachers will likely be more receptive then. There's so much going on at the first of the year, it's already hard to keep up. They will be able to be more focused in October.
    Good Job,
    Donna

  3. I think by using the surveys your teachers will have more of a "buy in" with your action research project because they will feel as if it was partially their idea too. Good job!
